Taught by Jeanne Russell. Jeanne has been teaching this class for 15 years. She is a certified 500 hour teacher through the Kripalu Center for Yoga and Health, Her additional trainings include The Meeks Method of SAFE Yoga and the Therapeutic Yoga for Seniors Program at Duke University.

A unique class designed for baby boomers and older adults
STRENGTH – Yoga Postures to build strength and promote healthy bones. We will adapt each posture to fit your needs.
ALIGNMENT – Your posture is the key to your health!
FLEXIBILITY – Joint range of motion warm-ups to lubricate – Motion is lotion!
BALANCE – Balance postures and exercises
SUPPORT – We use a variety of props including chairs, small resistance balls and bands, Yoga straps, and dowels
PEACE – Breathing practices and deep relaxation to promote well-being
